And then, there's this asshole.

I just recorded this one because I couldn't beat the damn thing until tonight.

I included a clip at the end of the video to explain exactly why this is such an annoying fight.

This is definitely the hardest boss in the game, you have to be about level 60 to realistically survive. Buy a bunch of Elixirs and Dry Ethers, you're going to need all of them.

He has 165,000 HP. It takes forever, because you're going to be fighting him one hit at a time.

This fight revolves around Omeguard.

Omeguard is his primary ability. It makes him invincible for 2 hits, and then it falls off for a few turns, letting you do damage. He also has a permanent Reflect on him, so don't even bother bringing a Black Mage unless you want to spam Bahamut with Rydia.

You should be using two weaker attackers to bring down Omeguard and then slamming him with your hardest attack.

Be careful though, because about 75% of the time he will counter your attack.

He only counters with one ability, Arm.

Arm does about 1500 damage and confuses the character hit. You're going to be using Esuna a lot.

He also uses Black Hole often, so casting Haste on all of your party is largely useless.

Flamethrower and Thermal Rays are pretty weak, don't worry about them.

Surge Cannon is his strongest attack, it does about 2500 damage to everyone and puts a very powerful Poison effect on them.

Maelstrom is like Tornado. It can either hit one person or the entire party. It seems to only target one person most of the time.

His most annoying ability is Electromagnetism. This is a total petrify that can't be removed with any kind of spell or item. You have to kill the character and then revive them to break it.

So, basically, this is 25 minutes of me attacking him very, very slowly and then recovering from the carnage of doing so.
