Our next guests are Notre Dame alumna and Board of Trustees member Cindy Parseghian and Cheryl Marcogliese, a board member at Niemann-Pick Canada.

Cindy and her husband Mike, along with Mike’s dad, Ara Parseghian, began the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation in 1994, after three of their four children were diagnosed with a fatal rare disease called Niemann-Pick type C.

Today, both the foundation and Niemann-Pick Canada are dedicated to searching for a cure for this terrible disease.
