About This Episode:
Today I want to share with you a recipe that was passed down from my father called Kikiam. Its made with ground pork, onions, jicama, Chinese 5 spices, brown sugar, and an egg to bind everything together. It is then deep-fried for 2-3 minutes on each side. It pairs beautifully with some sweet chili sauce or if you want to make it Filipino style you can use Filipino Banana Ketchup. This dish tastes delicious with a glass of red wine or your favorite whiskey type drink as well. Hope you all enjoy it!
