December 29, 2023 We went to the Weisshorn in the Niseko Mountain Range!
Head to Niseko area for year-end mountain climbing to enjoy powder snow
Mt. Weisshorn is a mountain that can only be visited in winter as there is no mountain trail.
We're glad that 2023 ended on a sunny note ✨

From the snow removal end point on the Kutchan side, go up via the old Weiss Ski Resort.
There was a preliminary trace so I was able to climb easily (*^^*)
The good thing about this mountain is that you can go without using a crampon ice ax and just using seal skis.
We were able to see the whole of Niseko from Mt. Weisshorn for the first time ✨
Mt. Yotei, Mt. Niseko-Annupuri, Mt. Iwaonupuri, etc. Niseko's mountains are so beautiful! (^^)!
We enjoyed Niseko's Japow in the backcountry!
