A bowl from a sort of root from unkown species, hope you enjoy!.
First finished the bowl with diluted Tungoil. But wasn't to happy with the strong contrasts. Too dark, and left the flat side too rough, wanted a lighter tone there. So i sanded the whole piece down again with a 400-600 grid. The final coat was a mix of shellac/linseed oil/denatured alcohol. (a.k.a shine juice). Also made some minor adjustments to the rim.
