Dr. Aquil Bayyan, Sr. (Camden High #41) went on to play basketball (JV Team) at Lafayette College in Easton, PA (1995-96) and then transferred to play at Howard University in Washington, DC (1997-00) where he became a starter at the end of the 1998-99 season and most of the 1999-00 season. After his playing career, Dr. Bayyan taught and coached HS Basketball in Washington, DC at Enterprise and Development Public Charter School (2002 - 2004) and Archbishop Carroll High School (2004-2008).
