Kobe 5 Protro Chaos, now available on StockX. The Kobe 5 Chaos colorway originally released in 2009 and drew inspiration from the late Heath Ledger’s iconic Joker character in "The Dark Knight". As part of the Kobe Protro series, Nike modified the original Kobe 5 design with upgraded technology and materials.

This Kobe 5 Protro is composed of a chameleon FlyWire upper with white and charcoal overlays. A white midsole with red speckles, lime green outsole, and lime green Swoosh completes the design. These sneakers released in December of 2019 and retailed for $175.

Instead of the usual retail launch, Nike made buyers earn the Nike Kobe 5 Protro 2K Gamer Exclusive. To order these sneakers, buyers had to score 42 points or more in a virtual basketball game. Winners got a free digital version and the chance to order the shoes through Nike's SNKRS app.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro 2K Gamer Exclusive's electric design reflects its ties to online gaming. The bright neon swoosh logo stands out against iridescent purple, while the same neon yellow swipes across the heel. Bright red droplets decorate the shoe like paint splatters.
