10/29/22: Backpacked the Mt. San Jacinto Peak Loop from Deer Springs Trailhead. Total of 21 miles according to my #strava app. I hiked the loop solo, clockwise direction which was the better direction in my opinion. Camped overnight at Strawberry Junction and that made for an easy out the next morning. It was also my first time using the Durston X-Mid Pro 2 tent on trail and it was everything I could've asked for. Single wall DCF tent, so UL and also has great ventilation which led to no condensation whatsoever. Overall perfect backpacking trip and can't wait to visit this moutain again.
