With Lincoln sales now at record lows, this week we're taking a look at how a once-storied name ended up here. There are many factors you can point to, between shifting tastes and Ford's overall management, but in reality Lincoln has dealt with those for decades, always able to stay away from the brink.

What's different now is the world around it. Lincoln makes great SUVs that people just aren't buying. And fixing that is a lot harder than making a better car.
