Vanessa Ruck, a.k.a @TheGirlOnABike explains the difference between TengTools TT series and FOAM series.
Two sets of identical tools, but the FOAM set takes up twice the space. Twice the space doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing though and Vanessa lets you know why. Hopefully this video will help you work out which one is best suited for you depending on your own scenario. The Foam series gives you a very spacious, laidout variation for your tools. Every single tool is individually and immediately accessible, so you can pull one out at any point without interrupting any of the other tools. You can immediately see the contrast in the Foam as well, which means noticing that this tool is missing is very easy and visual. You then have a naming and identification on an all of the Foam, so there's a very clear understanding of which tool goes where. The TT series is a little bit more compact so you've got a massive space saving here. We've got half the space for the same number of tools, but what we do then have in this particular set is tools on top of each other. So to get one out you need to remove the one on top first. Also, it's not quite as obvious that there is a tool missing compared to the FOAM set. So the big factor there is your space saving versus your very clear laid out looking at the materials of the two system. The Foam is a slightly tighter fitting system, so the tools stay nice and snug. It's also going to be better in colder temperatures because the Foam will stay malleable and soft. The TT series though, is better in a dirty or wetter environment because you can clean it. The moisture isn't going to stay in the material and that's going to help look after your tools.
