Hey everyone! Today we're reviewing a very interesting bass from Cort - The GB74GIG! Cort took the bass world by storm when they released a bass that could seemingly do it all - The GB74GIG. Featuring a P pickup at the neck, and a humbucker with a twist at the bridge position. The humbucker features both Music Man style and Jazz bass style pole pieces, and a selector switch to go between the different sets of magnets. Accentuating these pickups is Cort's two band preamp with a passive tone control! This bass looks like the perfect recipe for the one bass that can do it all.... but can the GB74GIG live up to its expectations? Let's find out!

This bass and all my other basses with rounds are strung with MJC Ironworks Nickel Plated Stainless Steel 45-105(125) unless otherwise noted. Check them out at www.mjcironworks.com
