Carrots can be hard to germinate and hard to grow from seed but if you use this techniques you can easy start growing carrots. You can easily grow carrots at home from seed with this technique. Carrots likes moisture and must be protected from the cold in order to germinate. Even though carrots are frost and cold hardy, the seed need warmth humidity to start growing. Completely drench the soil before planting, make trenches about 1/4 in deep and 1 foot apart, sow seeds 2 to 3 inches apart, cover with coconut coir and then with cardboard and weight it down with bricks. Remove the cardboard 7 to 10 days after carrots start growing.
