Tobira released a new textbook called Tobira Beginning Japanese 1. It's supposed to be the precursor to Tobira Intermediate Japanese. Tobira Beginning Japanese appears to be meant to compete directly with books like Genki, so in this video I compare it directly with Genki. I also go through the structure of Tobira Beginning Japanese 1, it's special features, and more. There's even pitch accent!
