We live in Zone A of St. Petersburg, which was under an evacuation order. Like most of my neighbors, I did not leave. We never lost power but some of my neighbors' homes flooded. A few people in Tampa Bay have lost their lives, many are without power, some elderly people are waiting to be rescued in their flooded homes. We cannot use our toilets or let water go down the drain because our local sewage plant went offline and supposedly it will take at least 48 hours for it to be fixed. So we are camping and hoping the water doesn't continue to creep closer to our home.

If you want to donate, here are two charities I recommend, the Florida Disaster Fund and the American Red Cross.
