The NAC Analysis 35mm film projector is one of the weirdest projectors I have come across. The compact design allows for portability, with the added feature of being able to vary the frame rate of playback, allowing for film to be played at 24 frames per second, all the way down to 1 frame per second, with the option to also manually advance. These days apart from the novelty of this rare and once uber-expensive projector, film enthusiasts and projectionists can convert these projectors with little hassle to scan 35mm film and film reels to digital. In the video I explain more about why this projector exists, how it works, how to use it, and an example of me "Scanning" the film frames with my digital camera (DSLR). Scanning preview reels or full-length 35mm feature prints have never been so easy without this film projector!
