Episode 3... Exploring Far South Coast of NSW and it's wild but spectacular coastline of Beowa National Park, formerly know as Ben Boyd National Park.
Today I visit Boyd's Tower which was built back in 1847, which purpose was to highlight the entry into Twofold Bay and was meant to be lighthouse but it failed the official inspection and was never complete. So instead it was used by the whaling family the Davidson's to spot whales migrating so they could alarm the whalers to head out the hunt the migrating whales.
This amazing coastline is a must see, with a few cracking campgrounds located in the Beowa National Park, and if your into your fishing this is destination for you with some of the best rock fishing on the east coastline of Australia.
