Prices 💰🚠🚙👇
• We paid 10 Swiss Franc (10,56 EUROS) for a full day parking. We arrived around 15.00 PM, and we were very lucky to find a parking spot. So if you want to visit Oeschinensee Lake, make sure to be here early, as it is a really popular place 👍• For the cable car, we paid 30 Swiss Franc (31,69 EUROS), including the return ticket. You can get it for 15 Swiss Franc (15,84 EUROS), if you have a Swiss Travel Pass. At the time we visited Oeschinensee Lake, the cable car were open from 08.30 to 18.00 PM. Of course that could have been changed since we were there, so make sure to double check that, before visiting 👌The name of the cable car is Gondelbahn Kandersteg - Oeschinensee AG 🚠

The route 👣🥾👇• It takes around an hour to an hour and a half, to walk from the end station of the cable car (Bergstation station) and down to the lake.
• The route we took was trail number 5. When you go with the cable car and get off at Bergstation station, there is only one trail you can follow, leading to the lake. After some time, you’ll see a crossroads, where you have two options of going right or left, either take route 4 or 5. Both trails are heading to the lake, but we found that route number 5 (the left one), were much more quiet and takes you into the woods and away from all the crowds. • When we visited Oeschinensee Lake, we only had a few hours of exploring this place, and we were a bit limited on time, as our vacation were coming to an end, and we had to head home, shortly after exploring this place. If I was you, I would differently allocate more time, visiting this place as there is so much to see and explore. The hiking trails goes way beyond the small trails we took.@madetoexplore has a really great video, showing just how awesome of a hike you could do in this area. Make sure to watch that video! There are a few hotels/mountain huts, you can stay in, around the area of Oeschinensee. • Berghotel Oeschinensee 🏚️ Located just next to the lake. I’ll leave a link to their website here:https://www.berghotel-oeschinensee.ch/

• Fründenhütte SAC 🏚️Located further up the mountain, at an altitude of 2562 meters. According to Google Maps, it will take 2 hours to walk up there, starting from the lake shore. I’ll leave a link to their website here:https://www.fruendenhuette.ch/joomla/

• Blüemlisalphütte SAC 🏚️

If that’s the case, you shouldn’t worry at all - it doesn’t get steep or dangerous, least not on the trails we took 👌
