I was working on getting some new buttons ready for Todd. He knows what I am doing and is excited about it. Todd asks for some cuddles and belly rubs. I give them to him then he asks to play later. I ask he what he wants to play and he tells me string thing. I tell him yes. I finish setting up the buttons and put them away and go downstairs laying out the string thing to remind me he had asked for it when I come back up. Todd decided after a couple of hours that it was now later and took the toy, carried it downstairs, and sets it at my feet.

Todd is a 7-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 59 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”.
