I should've done this at that same time as the engine oil and oil filter. When I changed the fuel temperature sensor I noticed that the air filter looked dirty so I decided to change it along with the cabin filter. This was done without too much difficulty. The engine will breathe a bit better with better fuel economy and interior comfort will also be improved.
