We were in Skopje North Macedonia and tried to explore around and try some of the local food as well as trying to see if there was some westernized food as well!

Skopje North Macedonia is an interesting place as they just gained their independence 30 years ago. They city feel as if it is in a transition as there are a few westernized restaurants that we found and actually have places like KFC, Burger King and more.

We didn't go to those places but we did check out some burgers, pizza, and sushi. Some were great, others not so great, but we gave it a shot.

We did try a variety of local foods such as burek, a summer stew, a bean dish and some delicious pastries.
