The first annual Beach Bum Outdoors Surf Fishing Classic took place October 4th through November 30th and covered 200 miles of Florida Panhandle beachfront. Weigh in sites consisted of five different bait and tackle shops along the coast where there were a few challenges along the way during the tournament which I personally experienced. In the end it all pretty much worked out and the awards were paid out to the top three pompano and whiting weight totals during the eight week tournament. It was a fun tournament to fish, met a ton of very cool people who are immersed in our world of surf fishing and had a blast doing it. This video does not have any boring fishing action, but is rather an overview of my approach to the tournament, and just how I ended up third in the Pompano division out of 538 registered anglers.
