I design and build a device that lifts my flatscreen TV out of the way when not in use on my outdoor patio while also protecting it from the elements. With the press of a button it swings down to allow watching some of our favorite stuff. See how I use some scrap metal from a previous project along with a old Tempur-Pedic bed lifter (and some other miscellaneous items) to come up with a pretty cool homebrew design.
