Persia Rises - Part 6

This is the first series dealing with Iranian/Persian history and the Achaemenid Persian Empire. Eventually I would like to cover all of the various empires that rose up in the lands and regions of what is now present day Iran.

The sands of time are ever shifting...The Achaemenid Empire is still decades away from the shadow of Macedonia and past its zenith.

In this episode we cover the kings of kings after Artaxerxes II. Darius II and Artaxerxes II. Having learned past lessons from their conflict with the Greeks they now play the game of politics with external chess pieces and not their own.
