I review, breakdown and explain Band of Brothers Episode 9 Why We Fight. I discuss the ninth episode in the HBO show from 2001 which focussed on Easy Company in the 101st Airborne Division. I react to the best moments in the episode, moments such as the concentration camp discovery, Nixon’s focus on questioning why he is fighting, Winters answering that question, and the contrast in tone in the first and second half. I also compare the episode to the real events and provide an in depth recap and my reaction to the full episode.
