Here's a tip on how to get deeper down the mine effectively without having to reduce much of your stamina or fatique!

Simply save before you start digging each time you arrive at a new floor, when you find the ladder going down, REMEMBER where it is and load the save file from earlier and go dig that same spot that u remembered ;)
