We describe how purge blocks are eliminated by using The Swapper3D from BigBrain3D during MultiColor 3D printing.
Our complete revision of the documentation is complete.
The Swapper3D is now in stock and available for purchase.

Our process involved making changes to the documentation and having a "non-technical person" ("NTP") follow the guide, then their work was reviewed by a technical person ("TP"), if it was successful then we moved on to the next step and marked that complete in the forum.

Fyi, a "non-technical person" is someone who has no 3D printing experience of any kind, also, they have never assembled anything of a technical nature, not even Ikea furniture. Our NTP was so non-technical that we needed to add another guide section called "Assembly primer" which contains sections like "how to identify screws", "how to use a screwdriver", "What is a torque wrench", and "how to unzip a file on your computer". If you are a TP then we recommend you still browse through it. There are sections like a "printable real life size screw identification sheet", and "how to install a QuickSwap-Insert", that may still hold value for you.

During the process the NTP and TP were not allowed to speak to each other, the NTP could only write their challenges and the TP could only answer by updating the documentation. At the end of the process the NTP had followed every step of every guide, assembled a Swapper3D completely and correctly, installed the Swapper3D on a new 3D printer, and completed a multi-swap test print. What you will find in the Swapper3D Instructions documentation on our website now is the result of this collaboration.

This was the best way we could think of to ensure that this revision of the documentation would be fully complete and useful to users of all skill levels. If you have some technical ability then you will find it that much easier.
