"Yeedi Mop Station Pro Review

What is Yeedi Mop Station Pro?
This robot floor cleaner is exclusively designed for hard floors, which is why it prioritizes mopping over vacuuming. When I say 'prioritize', I mean that the robot comes with two plates. One's a large 750 mL dustbin that's used for vacuuming only, but if you want to mop you can swap in the mopping plate which has two wet cleaning pads and a small dustbin. What this means is that it will then vacuum and mop at the same time!

Set up & Mapping
When you get your robot for the first time, you need to sign up or sign in to the Yeedi App, and it will walk you through the setup process, connecting to your home's Wi-Fi. After that, you want to send it out on a mapping mission. Allowing a robot to use its intelligence in generating a detailed map of your home will allow you to do zone and spot cleaning, as well as enable a scheduled cleaning of certain rooms on certain days.

Key Features: Spinning mopping pads
The major innovation in this robot, though it does exist in one other brand (Ecovacs X1 Omni), is a dual spinning mopping pad. The mopping pads are made from woolly microfibre and are quite plush, easily able to scrub even uneven floors. Yeedi says that they spin 180 times per minute, so they should have the ability to power off dried spills. There's also the adjustable water flow, so that's a plus.

You can use the Yeedi app to control the amount of water that flows through the mopping pads, for that thorough cleaning or one that would dry quicker.

In a bit of a departure from other mopping robots, the mopping tank is not visible or accessible to you. It's probably located somewhere deep inside the robot, but that's fine because the mop station will fill the tank for you. You can actually hear it gurgling as it fills the tank before it heads out for a mopping mission!

Overall review: Yeedi Mop Station Pro
It's got some good qualities yet some concerns, so I'm pretty torn if you ask me whether or not I'd recommend this bot.

On the pro side, it mapped quite quickly but I wasn't able to properly divide my largest room. I like the design and the look of the bot; it fits into my house nicely. I like that it vacuums and mops both, and I think that the plush mopping pads can be very effective. The water tanks are big too.
