Does you Toyota have a VSC check engine light turn on whilst starting the car or driving it. Well you have come to the right video.

VSC check engine light means Vehicle Stability Control, although it does not necessarily mean that your Toyota has lost traction control, it means that there could be a list of parts, and sensors that has turned the VSC and the engine light on as a warning to you that something is not operating correctly.

In Toyota cars, especially in the Toyota 3.5 V6 2GR-FE engines, the VSC and engine light is simply telling you that you need to replace all six spark plugs and coils. Spark plugs and coils that have reached its expiry date will 80% of the time pop up the VSC and engine light on your dash. Although having mentioned this, other parts of your car can cause the VSC and engine lights to turn on so it’s best to get the car scanned.

Another symptom that you will experience when your coils are need replacing is when the car misfires on ignition, the car all of a sudden starts to shudder or shake, more predominately coming from the engine, increased in fuel consumption and loss of power due to the reduction in compression on the affected cylinders.

In this video, I have replaced coils for Cylinder 2, 4 and 6 as I got the car scanned and the report showed that these three cylinders need new coils. I have replaced all 6 spark plugs but not the coils and the scan report has made it so much easier for me to diagnose the fault.

Once all three coils were installed, I drove the car and have noticed a huge improvement on acceleration response, its extremely responsive and I am getting the desired compression on each cylinder thats made my driving experience ever so enjoyable.

Did the job whilst I was at work, life gets in the way so I had to do this.

Hope you enjoyed the video.
