The Bear Review | The Bear Season 3 Review

The Bear has come out of hibernation for season 3, dropping all 10 episodes at once. Surprisingly, however, the show does not maintain its award-winning form from season 2. Instead this flashback heavy episode got too stuck in the past and failed to really move anything forward. The visuals, the cinematography, the acting: it's all still great. But when all of that is in service to a story and a cast of characters who's development has completely stalled out, it's all meaningless. The Bear Season 3 was a disappointment in this regard, as it became a bit self-indulgent and decided to take a victory lap after two seasons.
