महिलाको निम्ति महिला मञ्च नेपाल (WOFOWON)मनोरञ्जन तथा सत्कार (डान्सबार, दोहरी साँझ, क्याबिन रेस्टुरेन्ट, खाजाघर तथा स्पा/मसाज सेन्टर) क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत श्रमिक महिलाहरुको नेतृत्वमा (काठमाडौं जिल्ला प्रशासनमा विधिवत रुपमा (२०६४ साल चैत्र ६ गते) दर्ता भएको नेपालकै पहिलो गैरसरकारी संस्था हो । यो संस्था आफ्नो स्थापनाकालदेखि मनोरञ्जन तथा सत्कार क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत श्रमिक महिलाहरुको अधिकार प्रवद्र्धन तथा सुनिश्चिताको लागि अभियानरत छ । महिला श्रमिकहरुको कामको सम्मान हुनुका साथै कार्यरत क्षेत्र हिंसामुक्त, सुरक्षित र मर्यादित हुनुपर्दछ भन्ने उद्देश्य र मान्यताका साथ आफ्ना गतिविधिहरु सञ्चालन गर्दै आइरहेको छ । महिलाको निम्ति महिला मञ्च नेपाल संस्था र संरचना मात्र नभई महिला श्रमिकहरुको संगठन र शक्ति पनि हो । संस्थाले विभिन्न गतिविधि र अभियान मार्फत् महिला श्रमिकहरुलाई अधिकार प्रति सुसूचित गराउँदै आफ्नो अधिकार सुनिश्चिताको लागि सामूहिक रुपमा सशक्त आवाज उठाउन संगठित गर्ने काम गरिरहेको छ ।WOFOWON अन्तर्गतको ‘श्रमको पहिचान, सुरक्षा र सम्मान : साँस्कृतिक अभियान मार्फत असमान सोच रुपान्तरणको आह्वान’ भन्ने मुख्य उद्देश्यका साथ प्रत्यक्ष दोहोरी तथा लोकगीत मार्फत् सांस्कृतिक अभियान सुरु गरिएको छ । प्रस्तुत हुने गीतहरुमा श्रमको सम्मान, श्रमिकको हकहितको रक्षा, मानव अधिकार, महिला अधिकार र सवै प्रकारका सवालका विषयहरु समेटिनेछन् । अभियानका क्रममा प्रस्तुत गरिएको शब्द र लयका स्रष्टा तथा सर्जकहरुप्रति आभार व्यक्त गर्दछौं ।

Women Forum for Women in Nepal (WOFOWON) is the first non-governmental organization which was registered in Kathmandu District Administration on 6th Chaitra, 2064 BS (25th March, 2008 AD), dedicated to work for entertainment and hospitality (Dance bar, Dohori, Cabin restaurants, Khajaghar, and spa/massage centers) sector led by working women themselves. This organization has been actively engaged in promoting and ensuring the rights of working women in the entertainment and hospitality sector since its establishment. In addition to respecting the work of women workers, it has been conducting various activities with the aim and recognition that the working area should be violence-free, safe and dignified. WOFOWON is not only an institution and structure but also an organization and power for women workers. Through various activities and campaigns, the organization works to enlighten women workers about their rights and empower them collectively to ensure their rights. The organization is committed to raising a collective voice and empowering women workers to ensure their rights.
