How to measure lawn bowls green speed.

A Simple and quick way to find out your greens "number". All you need is: Tape (27m), Jack/Kitty, mat, bowls, timing device and a little skill to deliver the bowl to the Jack/Kitty.

Other considerations:
-For competition you would measure the green in both directions and average them to get your "number".
-Also the numbers used in this video 10 sec to 20 seconds are more on the extreme ends of the range.
-In the Northern hemisphere a good playable number would be in the 12 to 14 second range, which would be considered slow in the Southern Hemisphere.
