Another take on my Mystics type resin pieces. I am trying to expand my understanding and use of mica pigments in resin. This piece is using white resin (coloured with resin ink) along with mica pigment powders. Full mixing and pouring. The noise of the rain was too loud so I have turned off the sound during the pour.

This is a case of where success is all about preparation. I rushed the setup and the canvas was not level. With mica the more you play the muddier it gets and it got a bit messy. So while I got proof of concept (creating defined lines or stranding with mica), the execution needs work.
