Part 2: Hugh shares going on the elite Sniper Course, and being part of a Sniper Platoon. He discusses his 3 deployments to Afghanistan, where one deployment saw him be part of a battle in Musa Qaleh in 2006, which was later made into a documentary called Heroes of Helmand: The British Army’s Great Escape. Plus Hugh talks about his journey with tackling mental health issues, and how this has been partially helped by running his popular podcast H-Hour.

Hugh joined the British Army in 2000 and served in the Parachute Regiment for 11 1/2 years, specialising as a sniper. He reached the rank of Sergeant.
