An original song by Robin J Rendell (c) A song of childhood memories. Dog Daisy Hill was a mound of earth created when the navvies cut out the section of the Leeds Liverpool Canal (I remembered the song when we walked on the towpath this morning) that runs through the Yorkshire mill town where I grew up. It had a plateaued top where we could play. As kids it felt like we'd climbed the largest hill. It's gone now, but I'm guessing it wasn't even a small one. lol.
