The broken hinge is a very common problem for these models, and the repair can be sometimes be accomplished within only a few minutes. How easy the repair is depends on the extend of the damage to the plastic hinge. Sometimes we only need a paperclip, while other times it is advised to 3D-print or purchase a replacement hinge.
