Big thanks goes to Roselli knife blade factory. Two years ago they made me seven 4mm thick version of Roselli hunter blade (eräpuukko). This blade is one millimeter thicker and 20mm longer thanhunter blade. My friend Taro who is going to have this knife would say; "it's a workhorse!"

On this video you will also see some process how stabilized wood is born. The purpose of stabilizing wood is to make it more durable and less prone to warping or cracking than natural, untreated wood. Finnish knifemaker Teemu Häkkilä made excellent work with those selected wood blocks I sent to him. Thank you Teemu for nice pictures and videos of the process!
