The AGBU dinner in solidarity with the Armenian people, held in Paris on June 24, was an opportunity to thank our valued partners. AGBU global President Berge Setrakian looked back on 110 years of AGBU presence in France and expressed his deep gratitude to the political figures present.

Laurent Wauquiez, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, expressed his support for Armenia, questioning the differences in media treatment and underlining the injustice of leaving 120,000 compatriots in an inhuman blockade. Nathalie Loiseau, a Member of the European Parliament, stressed the importance of European unity in finding lasting solutions to conflicts.

Arnaud Ngatcha, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Europe, international relations, and the French-speaking world, representing Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, welcomed the solidarity initiatives and expressed the support of the City of Paris.
