Hello everyone, welcome back again, todays video is all about the basic facts of Mt. Kitanglad, the fourth highest mountain in the Philippines located in the province of Bukidnon in Northern Mindanao.

Mt Kitanglad Range National Park (MKRNP) additional information:

-Accordingly, the name "Kitanglad" was derived from a legend that there was once a great flood that submerged the native lands of Bukidnon, and only the tip of the mountain the size of a "tanglad" (lemon grass), remained visible ("kita" in visayan).

-MKRNP was officially declared a protected area on November 2000 under RA897 aka Mt. Kitanglad Range Protected Area Act of 2000.

-MKRNP was declared an ASEAN Heritage Park on the year 2009.
