Welcome to our scuba diving adventure in Coron, Palawan, where we explore the sunken Japanese WWII ship, Okikawa Maru. This amazing dive site is a must-visit for scuba divers and history buffs alike.

In this video, we take you on a tour of the wreck of Okikawa Maru, which lies at a depth of 26 meters in the crystal-clear waters of Coron Bay. We show you the various sections of the ship, including the engine room, the cargo hold, and the bridge, which is now teeming with colourful marine life.

Our dive guides give us insights into the history of the ship, which was a Japanese oil tanker that was sunk during the Battle of Coron Bay in 1944. They also point out some of the unique features of the wreck, such as the anti-aircraft guns and the propeller.

You'll also get to see some of the amazing marine life that calls the wreck of Okikawa Maru home, including schools of jacks, barracudas, and batfish. And if you're lucky, you might even spot a sea turtle or a shark!
