Last week, SPH held the Online Parent Seminar titled "Set the Tone" by Charlotte Priatna, M.Pd. This seminar is delivered in Bahasa.

One of the main problems in today's homes is that children oftentimes do not like rules and even children "take over" the line of authority at home.

So, what does it mean by parents "setting the tone" at home?

To "set the tone" at home means that parents are in charge of setting the rules at home -- not in an authoritarian or coercive way like the Pharisees, but in grace and love. Children need to obey parents as it is commanded by God in the Bible.

From this seminar, let us learn about the importance of obedience and setting rules at home, as well as how to apply those rules in a godly way.
