"Janaro Ee Mohamu" the popular Javali is an 18th century Telegu love poem written and composed by Chinnaya of the Tanjore quartet, the character says, my friend, this love that I hold within my heart I can no longer keep hidden, do not delay as the onslaught of Manmadan/Cupid’s arrows is unbearable beautiful one, in whatever way, make him reciprocate my feelings and bring him to me.
Here performed with great feeling and sensitivity by Christopher Gurusamy, Vignesh Ishwar and Sayee Rakshit this piece transcends into a thing of beauty and a treat for the senses.
