Special Stage Route X is currently the last of several Special Stage courses to make its debut on Gran Turismo, and also the last Special Stage course to appear on a Gran Turismo title at all, on Gran Turismo 7. It first appeared on Gran Turismo 5 as downloadable content, before appearing in GT6, GT Sport, and of course GT7.

The series' developers once built a second infield layout of Special Stage Route X. A layout that, even ten years on now, has never been released on any Gran Turismo game.

In this video, we'll take a look at the remains of this alternate layout which live out of bounds of the regular circuit and we'll also take a look at the other clues we have to paint a picture of what this track would have originally looked like.
