I’ve been using the turbo torch torch shield to help protect walls and woodwork from the heat of soldering. I use this blanket to braze or solder refrigerant piping. Torch Shield fire blanket catches heat from the flame protecting whatever is behind it. I know it won’t last forever. Therefore I will buy another one when this one is worn out. The only spots I had any issues with flaring up was the scene. But that should be expected when there is stitching on it. That’s what caught fire and flared up for a second.
