When Adam Savage released his first Every Day Carry (EDC) bag, I loved it from the start. But when he released the sewing pattern of it for sale, I was even happier. Making this bag myself allowed me to learn about its design in close contact and gain insight into not only why it has the features it has, but also why it was made the way that it is. This pattern is made by a company that makes these bags in large numbers, which means that there are lots of lessons hidden in the process. I had a great time going through this process and am very happy with my new EDC.
