Beside the St Mary's Church bell tower is a tiny door and wee steps must lead up to the place where the ringers are tugging away at the ropes. The magnificent sound is the result of their efforts. A glorious summer morning. It was a special service in the church this morning when prayers were asked for all those working or sailing on the seven seas.
