Whole Green Gram / Sabut Moong dal – 1 cup
Rice – 2 cups
Asafoetida/Hing – 1/4th tsp
Bay Leaf/Tej patta – 1
Cumin/Jeera – 1tsp
Clove – 4
Dalchini – 1 small piece
Turmeric / Haldi – 1 tsp
Ginger Powder / Sunth Powder – ½ tsp
Salt as per taste
Ghee 1 Serving spoon or as per your flavour
Oil
