Alan Grant is persuaded by a wealthy businessman and his wife to take an aerial tour of Isla Sorna. In it, cloned dinosaurs live in freedom and are studied in the natural environment. But a plane crash causes the group of seven people to be stranded on the dangerous island. Surrounded by hungry carnivores, visitors try to escape the place and save their own lives.
