Yeah, you guys heard/read it right! This is my first time solo traveling abroad and I can say that Bali is definitely a very friendly country and has lots to offer for someone who loves to travel (solo traveler or not), explore, have a little bit of adventure, hang out with strangers, party, drink, food trip, you name it!!!

I only stayed here for 5D/4N and it's not enough! If you have lots of time, I suggest visiting Bali for at least 1-2 weeks. It's enough to enjoy and explore the Island of the Gods 🏝

I'm still daydreaming about my Bali trip 🥺 and I can say that I'm definitely going back to this country anytime soon with friends or as a solo traveler again. Anyways, check my Bali trip details below:

Requirements

Things to Remember/Do/Prepare Before your Flight to Bali
1. Book your airport transfer from Klook to avoid high taxi charges in the airport
2. Download WhatsApp (fastest way to connect with your klook drivers and tour coordinators; basically, the messaging app in Bali)
3. Download Grab and GoJek (via App Store/Google Play Store)
4. Buy your sim cards or rent a pocket Wi-Fi from Klook
5. Medicines for Bali Belly (Loperamide/Immodium) and your vitamins
6. Don’t drink service water from restos or from your hotels (water not potable)
7. Bring a universal adaptor!!! (check out the ones from Omni brand)

If you want to travel cheap to Bali, make sure to look for cheap flight promotions, budget hotels/hotels, travel with your friends, and do your research as to what tours/places/cafes/restaurants/beach clubs you want to go to and how much they cost, so you can enjoy exploring the country without worrying too much about your budget! 😊
