The WPL C44KM 1:16 40-series Landcruiser ute kit build is done! USD$75 at time of video publication - a stonking great bargain for what you get! This little RC crawler can finally come out and play! Winter is past and the rattle cans are coming out of hibernation, so the body could be finished and now we can talk about the vehicle as a whole.

Spoiler: I quite like it. Fiddly to build the running gear, which is typical for these cheaper little kits, but totally doable and somehow more than the sum of their parts. What really surprised me was how capable it is on the trail.

An RC crawler it is not, but for trail driving - hey, this thing is quite good! Join me for a look at its running gear, the build experience, thoughts on its design and the end result. Be warned, this is an easy $100 to justify once you get to know it. I have a few WPL models and this is one is special.

Here is where I bought mine. Note, these are affiliate links which help the channel grow, if you use them. Thanks!

(Looks like a fun little upgrade - may be worth it IF you haven't got a radio system already. Otherwise, buying the bits you don't have would be cheaper. I'm not using anything from this kit, it came with the two LED headlights and that's enough for me - for now, haha!)

Got a few spare dollars left after that latest upgrade or rig build?
Consider putting them in the hands of those most in need, right now.
