This video shows the past nine months of acquiring a vintage mid 60s Aurora model motoring set, cleaning up replacing parts and getting it back on the road. If you’re like me you loved these when you were 10 to 12 years old. Are you concerned you don’t have enough space? Here is my two lane layout that I later converted to a four-lane layout inside of 3‘ x 5‘ space on top of the table. Between selling things, I didn’t want anymore, getting shrewd bargains on eBay, and trading for pieces I didn’t want I was able to put this entire set together for a little or no out of pocket money. You also get to see the difference between modern HO cars and the original 60s T jet cars and how they behave on the track. Enjoy get back into the hobby!
